The bill (Reg. No.7293) excludes clause 18 "Certification and Standardization in the Sphere of Tourism" from the effective Law, and supplements it with the provisions, whereby rendering of accommodation services without a certificate of a relevant category shall be banned.
However, the Committee members upheld the proposal to preserve clause 18 of the Law, which shall be excluded pursuant to the version adopted in the first reading. This clause regulates standardization and certification in the sphere of tourism.
The Committee members stated that the bill promotes business competition, raises the quality of hotel services and supports appropriate level of preparation for European Football Championship in 2012.
